An Army employee claimed reimbursement for temporary quarters subsistence expenses (TQSE) and relocation expenses incident to his transfer to his new duty station. GAO held that the employee was: (1) not entitled to reimbursement for TQSE, since he failed to present sufficient evidence that he occupied the residence on other than a permanent basis; (2) not entitled to.
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service requested an advanced decision concerning an Army employee's claim for temporary quarters subsistence expenses (TQSE) and shipping costs incident to her permanent change of station.
